Give it a rest! In this week’s episode I am telling you that you’ve got to take a break. Sit down, and just do NOTHING. But, before that, let’s talk about it on this week’s episode!
The Importance of Rest
Recharging your batteries can make a huge difference in overcoming obstacles in life and navigating change. If you are like me, you have a lot of roles in life. I am a wife, a mother, a business owner, a magik maker, and mentor. Sounds exhausting, right? If I need the bandwidth to do all of those roles justice, I have to make time for proper rest. Whether that means taking a literal nap or just making alone time for a relaxing bath, I can’t stress enough how important it is to de-stress!

I have had my share of transitions over the years. Not the least of which, when my husband lost his steady, dependable job at a church, I became the sole breadwinner. Under pressure, during a recession, I phased out my hairdressing and makeup work. I eventually made transitions, so I could become a full time coach for women.
